This has been a big year for Skateboard Academy UK’s skateboarding workshops across South Wales and beyond! We have worked with 36 schools, 7 local authorities and helped THOUSANDS of learners get their start or improve their skills on skateboards in 2022 so far.
Skateboarding workshops are a fun way to get people to try something new, challenge themselves and their peers through the sharing of a non-competitive experience through learning to skate!
We have found that there are several advantages to running skateboarding workshops in schools such as wellbeing days for pupils to have fun and boost their spirits, reward days to incentivise good attendance or as a way of providing an engaging and hands-on experience for pupils that may be having difficulties in their education outcomes.
We bring all of the equipment for our sessions to take place at your location, so you can relax and know that your pupils and young people will have a good time. We even have ramps and skatepark obstacles that we can set up to safely teach learners to make use of their local facilities following enjoying one of our workshops!
