Next year Skateboarding is going to be included as an official Olympic sport, which is fantastic news for the progression, visibility and accessibility of the sport.
What we love at Skateboard Academy UK is that skateboarding is opening up more and more to everyone, and we are seeing some amazing paralympic and adaptive athletes DESTROYING on their skateboards, with the likes of Felipe Nunes getting Thrasher Magazine’s cover and an UNBELIEVABLE video welcoming him to Tony Hawk’s company, Birdhouse.
